Danna serves on the Board of Directors for Wild Ones Front Range, the Colorado chapter of a national non-profit organization that promotes landscaping with native plants and environmentally sound practices. Danna is a Certified Colorado Gardener through CSU Extension.
Before coming to landscaping, Danna worked for two decades in film production in New York City, primarily as a freelance documentary producer, for which she earned an Emmy and was nominated for a second. In 2006, she left film production to be a mother and yoga teacher, managing her own yoga studio from 2008-2012.

In 2013, Danna and her family moved to Colorado. Here she had a yard for the first time ever and decided to scrap her front lawn and replace it with a low-water wildscape. Thus began a life-changing discovery of a practice which brings together her most essential desires: to create beauty and art, and to effect environmental change to address the urgent problems of climate change. Danna is a passionate advocate for, and implementer of climate resilient, naturalistic landscapes that restore ecological function, preserve limited natural resources, and nourish humans, insects, and wildlife.
